The Formula and Bars-to-Seconds Shortcut
Song length is the sum of its section lengths. If you know the section in bars, seconds = bars × beats per bar × 60 ÷ BPM. For example, a 16-bar verse in 4/4 at 120 BPM lasts 16 × 4 × 60 ÷ 120 = 32 seconds.
